Nurturing the constituency is one of the prime tasks before a Member of Parliament. Union Minister Suresh Prabhu, who represents Andhra Pradesh as Rajya Sabha MP, concluded a whirlwind three-day visit of the state.
In a visit he describes as “hectic and fruitful,” he toured three districts where he graced several public events, reviewed MPLAD projects, laid the foundation stone for 1st of the 13 new Skill Development Centres, addressed public rallies met with BJP leaders and had luncheon meetings with the Chief Minister and the rank and file.
Mr Prabhu also squeezed time out from this taxing schedule to meet public representatives, bureaucrats, met RSS leaders, visited religious places and interacted with the intelligentsia and delegations. The interactions were satisfying and focused on ways and means to promote the development of Andhra Pradesh. While apprising and taking a stock of the situation, he decided to take up relevant issues with various ministers in pursuance of key projects. On agenda is also Mr Prabhu’s resolve to work with international bodies to put Andhra Pradesh on a higher growth trajectory.
This will be followed by visits to other parts of the state where each and every district will be on his radar.
